Evolution Towards Data-Driven Spectrum Sharing: Opportunities and Challenges

As the demand for wireless services continues to grow, need efficient and effective management of radio frequency (RF) spectrum becomes increasingly important. A approach based on data analysis interpretation i.e. data-driven, offers a solution as it provides valuable insights into usage patterns, demand, potential harmful interference in shared scenarios. This paper focuses opportunities challenges incorporating diverse sources spectrum, with specific emphasis sharing, particularly within database-assisted sharing systems. The benefits adopting data-driven these systems are demonstrated through simulation case studies. These studies indicate achieving up 60% greater density use compared conventional approaches, while also effectively managing interference.
